The first pond rejuvenation project by any Rotary Club in North India

Rotary Club Gurgaon; The first pond rejuvenation project by any Rotary Club in North India; the inauguration of our Mega Project Pushkar which was held on 11th June 2023 and the project were completed on 11th June 2023. The major expenditure for project was contributed by CSR support of Rs.19.2 Lacs by Johnson Controls India Pvt Ltd (JCIPL) at Sham Baba Mandir Complex, Dhankot, Gurugram, Haryana, for water conservation by rejuvenation of percolation pond through recharge pits with CSR support from Johnson Controls India Pvt Ltd (JCIPL).  This project involves Revival of an existing pond, approx 3000 sq yd in size. Chief Guest was DG Rtn. Ashok Kantoor, Guest of Honour – Mr Arun Awasthy, VP & MD JCIPL; Shri Subhash Yadav, Additional CEO, Urban Environment GMDA, Gurgaon, District Team RID 3011, Members of Sham Baba Mandir Trust, Dhankot Panchayat, MCG Team, Senior Leadership team of JCIPL, PHDRDF; Team RPS and last but not the least President Brig. (Retd.) V K Chopra, PDG Dr Sushil Khurana, PP Subhash Chand Singla + more than 25 members attended this event. We are grateful to all members and spouses who attended the event despite a high temperature.
