Inauguration of Library at Sector 56, Gurgaon; 30th April 2024
Rotary Club Gurgaon in association with Rotaract Club of Sushant University, Gurugram organized inauguration ceremony of Library under Project Chapter House ‘Rotary TEACH programme on 30th April 2024 at Jagannath Ashram, Near Red Cross Society, Chandan Nagar Part II, Gurugram. PP Shashi Sachdeva, PP Hitesh Jain, PE Manmohan Bharara graced the occasion.
Blood Donation Camp at NCU, 29th April 2024
Rotary Club Gurgaon in association with Rotaract Club of NCU successfully completed Blood Donation Camp on 29th April 2024 at The NorthCap University Gurugram. Total 375 units of blood were collected. Our Rtn. Pankaj Bhatia also donated the blood. President Manish Agarwal, Rtn. Bharti Agarwal, PE Rtn. Manmohan Bharara, PP Rtn. Dilip Grover, PP Rtn. Sashi Sachdev, PP Subhash Singla , Rtn. Viney Suri, Rtn. Sushma Jain and Rtn. Pankaj Bhatia graced the occasion.
Donations of Stationery, Shoes, Slippers & Refreshments; 28th April 2024.
Our Club distributed Dresses, Shoes, Slippers, Stationery & refreshments to all inmates of Orphanage at DLF3, Gurugram on 28th April 2024. This project was successfully completed in association with Rotaract Club of NCU.
Magical Evening with RI President Elect Stephanie Urchick; 23rd April 2024
Magical Evening with RI President Elect Stephanie Urchick was held on 23rd April 2024 at Le Meridien, New Delhi. It was attended by AKS Arun Jain and PP Alka Jain, PP Dr AK Sethi, PP Pushpa Sethi and PE Manmohan Bharara. It was a well attended and very well managed event.
Donation of Sanitary Pad Machine ; 18th April 2024
Our Club installed 3 Incinerators (Sanitary Napkin Disposal Machine) at Dronacharya Government College, Gurgaon on 18th April 2024. Chief Guest was Prof. Ghanshyam Dass, Principal of Dronacharya Government College. It will benefit more than 3000 female students & staff at the campus. It was attended by President Manish Aggarwal, PE Manmohan Bharara and PP Hitesh Jain from our Club.
Regular Club meeting; 22nd April 2024
Regular Club Meeting – 26th meeting of the Rotary Year 2023-24 was held at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurugram on 22nd April 2024. Many projects were discussed followed by drinks and dinner.
PHS Member/ TRF Contribution
PP Hitesh Jain has pledged to be PHS member and elected to contribute $1000 each year to The Rotary Foundation in April 2024
International Services; Flag Exchange with Rotary Club of Nofolk, Virginia
Regular Club Meeting – 25th meeting of the Rotary Year 2023-24 was held at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurugram on 8th April 2024. Guest Speaker was Rtn LN Rao (Retd Deputy Commissioner of Police) and he gave a brief talk on the topic of ‘Police-Public relationship’. It was very interactive talk followed by a question answer session. He was presented a token of gratitude by PP Subhash Chand Singla and PP Hitesh Jain. President Manish Aggarwal exchanged our Club Flag with Rtn. Chris Bugg from Rotary Club of Nofolk, Virginia who attended our regular club meeting on 8th April 2024 during his official visit in Gurgaon.
