Rotary Club Gurgaon was one of the host Club for the District Cricket Tournament 2021-22 which was held on 27th February 2022 at Wisteria Club, Baliawash, Gurgaon. Although our Club was RUNNER-UP but still happy to share that we got the maximum Accolades…..

 

  1. Rtn Tarun Khanna…Man of the match in 2 matches
  2. Hony Rtn Vineet Trehan…Man of the match in 2 matches
  3. Rtn Tarun Khanna…..Best Bowler of the tournament
  4. Rtn Dr Sanjeev Chaudhary….Best Batsmen of the tournament
  5. Rtn Dr Sanjeev Chaudhary….Best Fighter of the match.

 

Our DG Anup Mittal along with First Lady Rtn. Shruti Mittal was there since morning & they encouraged all the teams & gave them best wishes. Besides him DGE Ashok Kantoor, DGN Jeetender Gupta, DGND Mahesh Trikha, PDG Ravi Choudhary & many other Dist dignitaries also graced this prestigious event.

Overall it was very well planned & managed event filled with lot of fun masti & delicious food throughout the day till 10.00 PM. More than 40 members from our club joined for this event to encourage the team.

Conclave 22, Curtain Raiser meeting; 23/02/2022

Free Mega Health Checkup Camp, 13th February 2022

Our Club hosted a Mega Free Health Checkup Camp in association with Narayana Superspeciality Hospital at National School, Patel Nagar, Gurgaon on 13th February 2022. Our Honorary Rotarian & Respected Sh Sudhir Singla MLA Gurugram was chief guest & inaugurated this camp. We are thankful to Doctors and Staff members of Hospital for attending more than 150 patients for BP, Sugar, ECG tests & Cardiology, Pulmonology, Urology, Dental & eyes checkups besides Mammography Van. We are extremely thankful to school staff and more than 20 Rotarians who volunteered their time for the Nobel cause. This project was well covered by media.

Joint Clubs Speaker Meeting; Speaker Dr. Yogendra Narain

Our Club was Co Host of Joint Clubs speaker meeting organized by Rotary Club of Delhi on 10th February 2022. Speaker was Dr. Yogendra Narain, IAS Ex. Secretary General Rajya Sabha. He spoke on National Security and Terrorism – role of the community followed by Q & A session. President Rtn. Hitesh Jain, Hony. Secretary PP Manish Aggarwal, Rtn. Manmohan Bharara & many other members attended this meeting from our Club.

26th Regular Club Meeting of 50th Rotary Year 2021-22 was held on 7th February 2022 at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurgaon. In-House Speakers was Rtn CA Ashwani Verma & Rtn CA Tarun Kumar. Rtn Ashwani Verma gave an elaborate talk on the topic of “BUDGET 2022” & touched upon very important points and Rtn Tarun Kumar spoke on Provisions for Startups / Digital Currency.

Few highlights on Budget 2022-

  • e-passport service from this year
  • 75 cities will have digital bank from existing PSU Banks
  • Digital Currency – on block chain
  • Agriculture – drones will be promoted
  • In Telecommunication, 5G approved
  • One nature – one registration – for visa
  • GST

This was an eye opening & much needed talk for everyone. Appreciated by one & all followed by Q & A session.

Meeting with DG Anup Mittal & Presidents, Rotary Clubs Gurgaon, 4th February 2022

DG Anup Mittal had a meeting with Club Presidents of Gurgaon Rotary Clubs along with & their membership chairs at our Rotary Public School which was held on 4th February 2022. This meeting was primarily for increasing club membership, making new clubs, satellite clubs etc.

Masks & Stationary Distribution on 04.02.2022

Rotary Club Gurgaon distributed Stationary items to underprivileged children of Govt Sr Sec School Bas Padamka near Pataudi on 4th Feb 2022. It was very nicely maintained school by Principal, staff & students. Besides stationary items refreshment boxes & masks were also distributed. President Hitesh Jain, Hony. Secretary PP Manish Aggarwal, PP Shashi Sachdeva, Rtn Davinder Jain and Rtn Bharti Aggarwal graced the occasion.
