Panel discussion on ‘Bridging gap across generations’; 19th December 2024

Rotary Club Gurgaon in association with IMA Gulabi Pankh Gurgaon held a panel discussion at Rotary Public School, Gurugram. Discussion topic was ‘Bridging gap across generations’ (from grandparents to children). It was facilitated by Rtn Dr Savita Chaudhary and hosted by RPS. It was an excellent panel and well coordinated by Dr. Savita. President Rtn. Manmohan Bharara and first lady R’anne Sudesh Bharara attended the event.

Annual General Meeting 2024-25 (16th Meeting), 16th December 2024

Our Annual General Meeting – 16th Meeting of 53rd Rotary Year 2024-25 was held at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurgaon on 16th December 2024. Board for Rotary Year 2025-26 and President for Rotary Year 2026-27 was elected.

Handing over of Mobile Toilet by RCG to Manipuri Girl’s Hostel

Mobile Toilets for Girls Hostel: A project supported by Manipur Government for Visan Foundation is for girl students to be skilled on F&B and gainfully employed. The hostel has about 200 girls and as per govt. guidelines the requirement is for 8 additional toilets. RCD Manthan sponsored two as lead and joined by RC Gurgaon and RC Gurgaon cosmopolitan – thus sponsoring 4 to start with.
To formally hand over these toilets the foundation felicitated Rotary, and children welcomed and greeted dignitaries with enthusiasm and cheer. There was a cultural program followed by a sumptuous lunch made by the trainees themselves. The program was attended by District Communication officer Rtn. Sameer Gupta, and guest PP. Rtn. Arkaprovo Ghose from R.C. Calcutta Endeavour, currently serving as AG in District 3291. The function was also graced by District Secretary Rtn. Sanjeev Jawahar. President Manmohan Bharara and PP Dr. Pushpa Sethi attended the occasion from our club.

Blood Donation Camp; 6th December 2024

Our Club organized Blood Donation Camp in association with Genpact on 6th December 2024 at Genpact Kore Tech Park, Sector 69, SPR, Genpact Badshapur, Gurgaon. This project was the courtesy of Rtn Priti Chopra. Our Rtn. Pankaj Bhatia was one of the donors.110 units were collected and our cumulative blood collection for the year is 1389. House thanked Rtn Pankaj Bhatia and Rtn Priti Bhatia for their valuable support

Blood Donation Camp; 5th December 2024

Our club organized another Blood donation camp in association with Genpact on 5th December 2024 at Genpact, Plot 22, Sector 18, Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon. We collected 55 units of blood. Amongst the donors was a gentleman who donated for the 92nd time! This camp was courtesy Rtn Priti Chopra Bhatia.

Formation of New Rotaract Club

Rotary Club Gurgaon made another new Rotaract Club in the name of ‘Rotaract Club of Dronacharya Govt. College (Gurugram)’ for the year 24-25 and charter for the same received.

Blood Donation Camp; 3rd December 2024

Our Club organized a Blood Donation Camp in association with Genpact on 3rd December 2024 at Genpact office, Gurgaon. 43 units of blood were collected.

Speaker Meeting; Mr Rocky Charles Williams

Regular Club Meeting – 15th meeting of the Rotary Year 2024-25 was held at Treehouse Queens Pearl, Gurugram on 2nd December 2024 followed by drinks and dinner. Speaker was Mr Rocky Charles Williams (he is the Zonal Chair DEI for Rotary District 3011, President of Rotaract Rainbow Club, IT Consultant BizOps and Co Lead Biz Resource). He spoke on the topic of “Awareness & Sensitization towards the LGBTQIAP+ Community and Upliftment of the Transgender community”. It was a very interactive session followed by question & answer session. Vote of thanks by Rtn. Puneet Arora. A token of appreciation was presented by PDG Dr Sushil Khurana.
