Regular Club Meeting, 26th February 2024
Regular Club Meeting – 21st meeting of the Rotary Year 2023-24 was held at Treehouse Queens Pearl Gurugram on 26th February 2024.
Donation for Treatment from sunshine account; 26th February 2024
Our Club donated an amount of Rs.22,000/- for help to the under privileged child Aditya who is suffering from chronic ailment for last two years. Our Rtn. Amit Singh is helping them from the last two years.
Rotary Club Gurgaon hosted two District Events on 25th Feb.’ 2024
1. Crescendo Rotary Idol; 25th February 2024
Crescendo Rotary Idol Finale was held on 25th February 2024 at our Rotary Public School, Gurgaon premises hosted by Rotary Club Gurgaon. PP Dr. A K Sethi actively participated in Crescendo. Thanks to team RPS for wonderful arrangements & galaxy of Rotarians who spared their precious time to make event successful. Judges were PDG Rtn. Deepak Talwar, Rtn Dolan Chakravorty and Rtn Arman and following participants selected for Rotary Idol finale.

2. Sports Day of Rotaractors; 25th February 2024
District Sports Day of Rotaractors was held at sports ground of Rotary Public School, Gurgaon after five years. Winners were felicitated by our DG Rtn. Jeetender Gupta, First Lady Rtn. Deepti Singh Gupta, SMC Chairman PP Paramjit Singh Oberoi, President Manish Aggarwal, Hony. Secretary Rtn.Mohit Khullar. Every winner was felicitated with momentoes.
International Services; 14th February 2024
Our guest Rtn. Winnie Cheng, Board Director of Rotary International ICC (Inter-Country Committee) Executive Council for East & Southeast Asia Expansion, visited us from Taiwan. She visited our Rotary Public School, Rotary Blood Bank and Thallasemia Clinic Centre. She also visited Roop Polymers Manesar plant on 14th February 2024, where she met with PP Hitesh Jain and Rtn. Meenakshi Jain. She showed keen interest in various processes during her visit, which was facilitated by our PDG, Dr. Sushil Khurana. Rtn. Winnie Cheng also showed keen interest to do Global Grant project.
Regular Club Meeting, In-House Speaker Rtn. Tarun Arora; 12th February 2024
Regular Club Meeting – 20th meeting of the Rotary Year 2023-24 was held at Treehouse Queens Pearl Gurugram on 12th February 2024. In-house Speaker was Rtn. Tarun Arora and he gave an elaborate talk on the topic “Budget & Economic Story of India”. It was a very interactive talk followed by question answer session. He was presented a token of gratitude by PDG Dr. Sushil Khurana.
PRERAK ‘AGTS’ at Nepal; 9-11 February 2024
PRERAK ‘AGTS (Now called AGLS); was held from 9th – 11th February 2024 at The Soaltee, Kathmandu for the Rotary Year 2024-24. PP Hitesh Jain informed that various wonderful sessions were organised under the leadership of Dr. N Subramaniam, PDG Ranjan Dhinga and PDG Ramesh Chander. The programe was compered very nicely. It was attended by Dr. Pushpa Sethi, Dr. A K Sethi and PP Hitesh Jain from our Club and they actively participated in the events like Dance performance etc. Day 2 session was conducted by PDG Deepak Talwar. Participants also visited Pashupati Temple. It was very inspiring session with excellent bonding. Good point was our DG Jeetender Gupta, DGE Mahesh Trikha and DGN Dr. Ravi Gugnani was working in tandem. It was an excellent learning session. Overall it was a very mesmerizing well managed event.
Medical Health Checkup Camp; 7th February 2024
Medical Health Checkup Camp was held at Govt School, Sector 14, Gurgaon (adopted by Rotary Club Gurgaon) on 7th February 2024 for 450 underprivileged children. Blood Tests were done for Hemoglobin, Thalassemia etc. We are thankful to Rtn Dr.Kapil Lall & Rtn Rajeev K Gupta for sponsoring the Nobel cause. We are thankful to Rtn OP Aggarwal for sponsoring the refreshments to all students. It was attended by President Manish Aggarwal, First Lady Bharti Aggarwal, R’anne Vandana Aggarwal, PP Shashi Sachdev, PP Dr. Mandeep Kishore Goel, Rtn. Davinder Jain, Rtn. Pankaj Bhatia and Rtn. Rajeev K Gupta.
Rotary Sanatan Rasoi; 6th February 2024
Rotary Sanatan Rasoi was sponsored by Rtn.O P Aggarwal & R’anne Vandana Aggarwal on the occasion of their marriage anniversary. They donated Rs.5100/-. We are thankful to them for the contribution of meals on 6th February 2024 at Geeta Bhawan, New Colony, Gurgaon. It was attended by Rtn.O P Aggarwal with R’anne Vandana Aggarwal; Rtn. Surinder Jain, PP Surinder Khullar, Rtn. Sunita Khullar, Rtn. Davinder Jain.
Stationery articles with Health kits; 1st February 2024
Our Club distributed Stationery articles with Health kits to 250 underprivileged children of Maharshi Dayanand School, South City 1, Gurgaon on 1st February 2024. We are very thankful to PP Dilip Grover for coordinating the Nobel cause to create Hope in the world. President Manish Aggarwal and PP Dilip Grover attended this event from our Club.
