On the occasion of Amavasya: the Rotary Sanatan Rasoi Ann Shetra, being run by RCG in collaboration with Shri Geeta Bhawan, was sponsored by Rtn Dr Savita Chopra & PP Rtn Brig VK Chopra on 2nd October 2024. In the past also the Chopra family contributed a lot for Ann Shetra. Langer was served to about 200 devotees. Members of Geeta Bhawan facilitated the Chopra family Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha(Regd), Geeta Bhawan, New Colony, Gurugram convey their sincere thanks to the Chopra family for their generosity.

“Navchaar” – District Literacy/ Basic Education & Adult Literacy Seminar was held on 28th September 2024 at PHD House, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi. Meeting called to order by DG Rtn. Dr. Mahesh Trikha and MOC was Rtn. Rajiv Sagar. Chief Guest was PRID Rtn. Kamal Sangvi. Special Guests were Past DLCC – Devpriya Uxa/Jhansi and Assistant District Learning Facilitator 3261, RLI Faculty; RC of Rourkela Steel City Rtn. Dr Anjana Maitra. Rotary Club Gurgaon was one of the co-host club. It was very well managed event. 16 teachers were awarded for their outstanding community work. Appreciation for our co-hosting the District Literacy Seminar and Nation Builder award for Rotary Public School Gurgaon Director/Principal Ms. Sandeep Rai were received. It was attended by President Manmohan Bharara, AG Hitesh Jain, Ms. Sandeep Rai, Ms. Deepa Nair along with Interactors.

Installation Ceremony of Rtr. Avanie Singh and her team of Rotaract Club of Sushant University, Gurgaon for RY 2024-25 was held on 24th September 2024 in its University premises. It was a celebratory moment and an ideal opportunity for a Rotaract Club to express gratitude, honorably transfer authority and responsibility, celebrate club services, and acknowledge community members. It was attended by President Manmohan Bharara and Director Youth Services PP Dilip Grover. It was a very well managed event.

Rotary Club Gurgaon attended the celebrations of International Day of Peace (District Event) seminar held at ICCR Auditorium, Azad Bhawan, New Delhi on 20th September 2024. It was attended by President Manmohan Bharara with First Lady R’anne Sudesh Bharara, PP Dr. Pushpa Sethi, PP Dr. Ashok Sethi, Rtn Amit and Alka Jain,Rtn Hitesh and Sushma Jain and Rtn Sudarshan and Chavi Lath from our Club. Our co sponsorship of event courtesy PP Dr Pushpa Sethi was acknowledged and a plaque was presented by the DG.

Rotary Club Gurgaon donated a TV Screen to Mahirshi Dayanand Model Primary School, South City 1, Gurugram on 14th September 2024. This project was coordinated by PP Dilip Grover. President Manmohan Bharara, PE Rtn. Subhash Singla, PP Dilip Grover, PP Tirlok Garg and Rtn. Davinder Jain attended this event.
