Our 17th regular club meeting was held at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurugram on 15th November 2021. Many projects done during previous week were discussed and planning for upcoming projects was shared by President.
Soft Launch of extension of Thalassemia Centre at Rotary Blood Centre Gurgaon was held on 10th November 2021 which is running in association with our Rotary Club Gurgaon. Previously this Thalassemia centre had 3 beds but now with the extension it has 5 beds. A cheque of Rs 3.5 lac was handed over to them from Roop M G Jain Charitable Trust of President Hitesh Jain and PP Anil Jain. This event was attended by PDG Dr Sushil Khurana, resident Hitesh Jain and Hony. Secretary PP Manish Aggarwal from our club.
Our PE Brig. (Retd.) V. K. Chopra along with First Lady Dr. Savita Chopra attended PEM-1 ‘Adhisthana’ which was held on 7th November 2021 at Le Meridien, Gurugram. It was very well organized event under the leadership of DGE Rtn Ashok Kantoor. Both of them enjoyed the event.
Our 16th regular club meeting was held at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurugram on 1st November 2021. After the meeting Deepawali kits made for underprivileged consisting of sweets and assorted items were handed over to all members present. Since this meeting was Pre Diwali, our Club celebrated in a fun filled manner & members participated with some shayari, jokes, songs, dance etc.

Our Club attended 4th Governor Monthly Review meeting ‘GUFTAGOO’ was held on 31st October 2021 in hybrid format & attended by almost all Clubs and District leaders. District Governor discussed and appreciated the work done by each President and team. DG Rtn Anup Mittal updated that RI President Rtn Shekhar Mehta received Mahatma Gandhi’s Award and PDG Ranjan Dhingra appointed as RI Director from our District. Our various projects related to Health checkup, Blood donation, Mammography van were recognized.

PP Dr Mandeep Kishore Goel for the appointment as President (Gurgaon District) of Haryana Pardesh Vaish Sammelan affiliated to Akhil Bhartiya Vaish Sammelan. He was honoured & presented with certificate of appointment by President Rajeev Jain, Hon Sec Ashok Mittal & Durga Dutt Goyal, Tarsem Mittal, Vice President Haryana, held in a function was held on Friday 29th October 2021 at Sonepat. We wished him all success for new opportunities.
Rotary Club Gurgaon made Roz Ka Meo Village, Sohna Avoidable Blindness Free, Screening of 274 patients was successfully completed on 25th October 2021. 40 patients were detected for Cataract surgery; others were given free medicines & spectacles. Mobilisation of these patients will be done in association with Roop V K Jain Foundation and City Hospital and Eye Care Centre, Nuh for their surgery.
President Hitesh Jain along with First Lady Rtn Meenakshi Jain, Rtn Dr Savita Chopra, Rtn Mohan Bharara, Rtn V K Tandon & Rtn Sunil Datta graced the occasion.
Our club is hosted Covishield Vaccination Camp at Roop Polymers Manesar & Sohna Plants on 23rd October 2021. 997 people have been benefitted in these Vaccination Camps. A number of Rotarians and their family members got vaccinated. President Hitesh Jain, Hony. Secretary PP Manish Aggarwal, Rtn. Manmohan Bharara graced the occasion from our Club.
Rotary Club Gurgaon celebrated Diwali Fellowship (15th Meeting) on 22nd October 2021 at Sector 15 Part-II, Gurugram. This fellowship was conducted with early bird, lucky draws and games followed by dinner. It was very well organized event and attended was 85%+. Overall it was very well organized & everyone enjoyed a lot.
Our Club organized Blood Donation Camp of our Golden year on 20th October 2021 at Roop Polymers, Manesar to celebrate Prerna Diwas in memory of President Hitesh Jain’s beloved father Lt. Sh M G Jain. 314 units of blood were collected.
Our DG Anup Mittal, Distt. Secretary Vivek Jain, AG Mukta Malhotra, PP Shubash Verma, PP BD Pahuja spared their valuable time and graced the occasion.
