26th Regular Club Meeting of 50^th Rotary Year 2021-22 was held on 7th February 2022 at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurgaon. In-House Speakers was Rtn CA Ashwani Verma & Rtn CA Tarun Kumar. Rtn Ashwani Verma gave an elaborate talk on the topic of “BUDGET 2022” & touched upon very important points and Rtn Tarun Kumar spoke on Provisions for Startups / Digital Currency.

Few highlights on Budget 2022-

• e-passport service from this year
• 75 cities will have digital bank from existing PSU Banks
• Digital Currency – on block chain
• Agriculture – drones will be promoted
• In Telecommunication, 5G approved
• One nature – one registration – for visa
• GST

This was an eye opening & much needed talk for everyone. Appreciated by one & all followed by Q & A session.

Rotary Club Gurgaon distributed Stationary items to underprivileged children of Govt Sr Sec School Bas Padamka near Pataudi on 4^th Feb 2022. It was very nicely maintained school by Principal, staff & students. Besides stationary items refreshment boxes & masks were also distributed. President Hitesh Jain, Hony. Secretary PP Manish Aggarwal, PP Shashi Sachdeva, Rtn Davinder Jain and Rtn Bharti Aggarwal graced the occasion.

Our Club actively attended 7th Governor Monthly Review meeting held on 31st January 2022 in hybrid format & attended by almost all Clubs and District leaders. District Governor discussed and appreciated the work done by each President and team. Our various projects were recognized during this meeting. President Hitesh Jain, Hony. Secy. PP Manish Aggarwal, PP O P Pahwa, PP PP Raman Parnami, PP Dr. Pushpa Sethi, PP Rohit Bhaita, PP Manmohan Bharara and Rtn. Ravinder Nath Dua attended this event from our Club.

Our 25th regular club meeting was held at virtual platform on 26th January 2022. It was hosted by our Rotary Club Gurgaon along with Co-Host Clubs – RCG Cosmopolitan, RCG Pravahini, RCG Harmony Iberis, RCG South City, RC of Narnaul City, RC of Narnaul Bellas on virtual platform. It was attended by DG Anup Mittal, PDG Deepak Talwar, PDG Ramesh Chander, PDG Dr Sushil Khurana, AG Rtn. Mukta Malhotra, all District Dignitaries, Presidents of Co-Host Rotary Clubs.

73rd Republic Day was celebrated with a song by Rtn Meenakshi Jain, paying homage to martyr who lost their lives for motherland. Then with Booster Dose of Laughter by both the Hasya Kavis Sardar Manjit Singh & Mr. Budhi Prakash Dadhich on Zoom. Overall event was full of humor & laughter. Speakers Sardar Manjit Singh and Mr. Budhi Prakash Dadhich made this day a very special and every one enjoyed thoroughly. About 125 audience attended this event & from our club 50 members were present.

As COVID is at our door step, a precaution is only care….. Rotary Club Gurgaon 2000 Masks distributed at Civil Hospital, Sector 10, Gurgaon on 21/01/2022. President Hitesh Jain, Hony. Secretary PP Manish Aggarwal, Rtn V K Tandon, Rtn Ashwani Verma, PP Shashi Sachdeva graced the occasion. It was well covered in the Star News television channel.
