Our club donate Computer & Printer with Furniture at Rastrahit Public School, Sukhrali Enclave, Near Atul Kataria chowk Gurgaon on 25th April 2022. We also distributed Biscuits packs & Bananas to children on the occasion. This project was sponsored by Roop Polymers. We are thankful to President Hitesh Jain, PP OP Pahwa, Rtn Manmohan Bharara and PP Manish Aggarwal for participating in this project.
A free Covid-19 Vaccination Camp at Rotary Public School in association with Department of Health, Government of Haryana was going on for the students between 12-18 yrs. Thanks to President Hitesh Jain, our Chairman SMC PSO ji, PP O P Pahwa, Rtn V K Tandon, Rtn Viney Suri, Rtn Ashwini Verma, Rtn Sunil Datta and PP Manish Aggarwal for sparing their valuable time to motivate students. Thanks to PSO ji, Principal & staff of RPS for arranging these camps.
Our club in association with VisionSpring was organised Eyes Care Camp for all students of Rotary Public School campus from 18/04/22 to 21/04/22 (4 days). Besides Vision screening, they will provide Free eyeglasses to the affected students. We are planning to get 100% students checked. We are thankful to PP Paramjeet Singh Oberoi ji & Team RPS for wonderful arrangements. We are thankful to President Hitesh Jain; PDG Dr.Sushil Khurana, Rtn Arun Jain, Rtn Meenakshi Jain and PP Manish Aggarwal for sparing their valuable time to grace the camp.

32nd Regular Club Meeting of 50th Rotary Year 2021-22 was held at Hotel The League, Sector 14, Gurgaon on 18th April 2022. Many projects were discussed during the meeting, few are given below –
Project Udaan update as on 18th April 2022
Our Project Udaan at Rotary Public School in association with Empower Pragati is running successfully. First batch of 30 youths have already completed their course out of which 15 are employed in good companies after 3 month’s training. 2nd & 3rd batch is already in progress. We plan to prepare above 100 youths for employment.
Project Udaan Team – Mr. Sumit. Kumar, Mr. Ajay Mallik, Ms. Shanta Kunwar and Mr. Anshuman Vashist shared their experience of course and employment. They faced Q & A of the House very well. These students were very happy and thanked Rotary Club Gurgaon for this golden opportunity.
Our 3rd Edition of bulletin “The Bridge” was released and has been sent through email to all the Presidents, District Dignitaries and its members through courier. President thanked PP Rajneesh Sharma for his all-out efforts and releasing it well in time.
Mammography camp was organized by our Club in association with Kendriya Shri Sanatan Dharm Sabha, Geeta Bhawan on 10th April 2022. This was our project meeting. Besides detection camp, awareness talk was also given by our PP Dr. Pushpa Sethi ji to the Females present for this camp. 20 screenings were done. During this camp members present, had a fellowship breakfast at Om Sweets, New Colony. President Hitesh Jain, PP Arun K. Jain, PP Dr. Mandeep Kishore Goel, PP Dr. Pushpa Sethi, PP Surinder Khullar, PE Brig. (Retd.) V. K. Chopra, Rtn. Ashwani Verma, Rtn. Davinder Jain, Rtn. Meenakashi Khullar, Rtn. Mohit Khullar, Rtn. Dr.Savita Chopra, Rtn. Sunil Datta, Rtn. Sunita Khullar & yours truly attended this event. We have also completed the desired formalities for the reimbursement from Rotary Cancer Foundation.
Our Club was conferred with Social Excellence Award 2022 as one of associate partner for Cyclothron 2022 held on 3rd April 2022 at Leisure Valley Park, Gurgaon. PP Rohit Bhatia, Chairman of this project receive this award in a function held at HSV Global School, Sec 4 Gurgaon on 9th April 2022. It was well covered by media. House appreciated and congratulated for this achievement.
Dr. Madhu Chopra mother of Priyanka Chopra (Indian Bollywood & Hollywood Actress, Model, Singer and Miss World 2000 pageant) also attended our meeting on 4th April 2022. Dr. Madhu Chopra shared her life journey and professional experience with the House, which was applauded by all. A Planter as a token of gratitude was given to Dr Madhu Chopra & her son Siddharth by our PDG Dr. Sushil Khurana along with PP Chander Gauba & PP Paramjit Singh Oberoi.
31st Regular Club Meeting of 50th Rotary Year 2021-22 was held on 4th April 2022 at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurgaon. Speaker Dr. Sudeep Singh Sachdev (Senior Consultant & Clinical Lead – Nephrology, Hypertension & Renal Transplant from Narayana Hospital, Gurgaon) gave an elaborate talk on “Early Warning Signs of Kidneys Disease & Tips How to Keep Your Kidney Healthy” through PPT followed by Q & A session. His talk was quite informative & very well appreciated by the House. A Planter as a token of gratitude was given to Speaker of the day by our PDG Dr. Sushil Khurana.
