Our Club distributed School Bags at Mahavir International School, Sector 17A, Gurugram on 08/07/2022 to the underprivileged children. We are thankful to Rtn. Pooja Gupta & Rtn Rajeev K Gupta for the Nobel sponsorship.
Regular Club Meeting – 1st meeting of the Rotary Year 2022-23 was held at Treehouse Queens Pearl Gurugram on 4th July 2022. President Hitesh Jain exchanged collar with incoming President Brig. (Retd.) VK Chopra. Few prospective members also joined our meeting. It was very fruitful meeting. Also President Brig. (Retd.) V K Chopra announced the Club Board and Committee Chairs for the Rotary Year 2022-23.
Rotary project meeting followed by breakfast with Rotarians and Rotaract members at Om Sweets. Dr Pushpa Sethi, R’anneRenu Verma, PP Alka Jain, Rtn. Anju Jain and Dr. Savita Chopra were inspired to see the smiles on these ladies faces by our humble efforts at Old Age Home. They have formed group & are all planning to do something collectively for these ladies.Those who are interested in helping may give their names to Rtn Anju Jain. We will all then decide an activity after a couple of months. Dr. Savita Chopra offered free ultrasounds when needed
PP Dr Pushpa Sethi gave a talk on ‘How to take care of your health issues in sunset years’ on 03/07/2022 at Old Age Home. We are grateful Dr Pushpa Sethi for delivering a talk on prevent health for elderly people, and Rotary Team for their whole hearted involvement.
With the moto of Caring for Senior Citizens – to care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honours. Rotary Club Gurgaon distributed Daily Need items – dry and fresh ration and toiletries followed by breakfast to inmates of Old Age Home, Sector 4, Gurgaon on 3rd July 2022.
Speaker Dr Manju Anand, Sr. Faculty Thapar University gave an elaborate awareness talks on environment at Rotary Public School, Gurgaon on 1st July 2022. She is an expert in the area of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology possessing more than 30 years of rich experience in Research and Academics. We are thankful to all Rotarians, Rotaractors & Interactors who actively participated in this event.
Rotary Club Gurgaon inaugurated the WinS Project – Washing Hands on 1st July 2022 at Rotary Public School, Gurgaon. We are thankful to all Rotarians, Rotaractors & Interactors who grace the occasion.
Rotary year started with Project Tree Plantation Drive. Our Club planted 200 saplings at Rotary Public School, Gurgaon on 1st July 2022. We are thankful to all Rotarians, Rotractors & Intractors who grace the occasion.
“Anusthan – District Installation Ceremony” was held on 1st July 2022 at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. Brig. V K Chopra was installed as President of Rotary Club Gurgaon. Brig. V K Chopra,Dr. Savita Chopra, Hony. Secretary PP Manish Aggarwal, PP O P Pahwa, Rtn. Mohit Khullar in all 21 members attended this event from our Club.
Joint Board Meeting (Team 2021-22 & 2022-23) was held on 24th June 2022 at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurgaon followed by Dinner. Future plans and important decision were taken. It was a fruitful meeting.
