Visit to our permanent Project PUSHKAR; 11th December 2022

Our members visited permanent Project ’पुष्कर’ site at Dhankot, Gurgaon. This project involves Revival of an existing pond, approx 3000 sq yd in size, at Sham Baba Mandir Complex, Dhankot (Gurugram, Haryana), for water conservation by rejuvenation of percolation pond through recharge pits. The total cost of approx 26 Lakh, 19.2 lakhs are being contributed thru CSR initiative and gram panchayat has given a written undertaking for another 5 lakhs. “Project’पुष्कर” when completed would result in doubling of water capacity of the pond, as well as cause significant increase in ground water levels of the area.

15th Regular Club Meeting of 51st Rotary Year 2022-23 was held on 5th December 2022 at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurgaon. Guest Speaker was Dr. Jyoti Goel MD from Medsarc Advanced Superspeciality Clinic, Gurgaon. Dr. Jyoti Goel spoke on the topic of Do’ and Dont’s for Diabetes and Lifestyle changes for Diabetes, which was appreciated by all. It was very beneficial talk. It was followed by the question answer session.

Annual Function of Primary Wing ‘Kidalicious’ was held at Rotary Public School, Gurgaon. Chief Guest was our PP Ashok K Jain. It was very well managed event. We are very thankful SMC Chairman PP Paramjit Singh Oberoi, Principal Ms. Sandeepa Rai and all the staff who did excellent job. It was attended by President Brig. (Retd) V K Chopra, VP Dr. Savita Chopra, PDG Dr. Sushil Khurana, PP Paramjit Singh Oberoi, Rtn. V K Chopra, PP Dr Pushpa Sethi, VP Dr Savita Chopra, Rtn Ashok Kumar Gupta, PP Alka Jain, R’anne Sushma Jain, R’anne Meeta Gupta and 6 nonmembers; Dr Priyanka Yadav, Dr Nidhi R Goel, Mrs Divya Raksha, Mrs Sanju Jain, Mr. Ashok Mehra attended this camp. 20 people benefited from this camp.
