Our Pushkar project is full swing. An amount of Rs.19 lakhs has been received from our CSR partner. Our Club had a meeting with Gram Panchayat Pradhan and regularly visiting the venue to see the progress of the project. Project Pushkar work has been delayed due implement weather.
Rotary Club Gurgaon distributed Four Way Test stickers and a token of gratitude were presented to each Participants in association with Interact Club of Rotary Public School on 18th March 2023 on the day of Parents Teachers Meeting. VP Dr. Savita Chopra, Rtn. Sushma Jain, Rtn. Davinder Jain along with Principal, Staff and Our RPS Interactor attended this event.
Our Club organized Free Mammography Camp at Rotary Public School in association with Interact Club of Rotary Public School on 18th March 2023 on the day of Parents Teachers Meeting. 21 people benefitted from this camp. President Brig. (Retd.) V K Chopra exchanged our Club Flag with Rtn. Srikanth Sandru from Rotary Club of Warangal during our regular club meeting held on 13th March 2023.
21st Regular Club Meeting of 51st Rotary Year 2022-23 was held on 13th March 2023 at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurgaon. This meeting was attended by our visiting guests – Rtn. Srikanth Sandru, (RC Warangal), Rtn. S.C. Gulyani (RC Ambala), Rtn. Govind Sharda (RC Delhi Rajdhani). It was very fruitful meeting.
Board Meeting of Rotary Club Gurgaon, Board 2022-23 (6th meeting) was held on 13th March 2023 at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurugram. Many important decisions were taken and implemented.
PE Rtn. Manish Aggarwal, PP Dr. Mandeep Kishore Goel and PP Manmohan Bharara attended the RI District 3011 (ANUDAN) District Grant Management Seminar was held on 11.3.2023 at PHD House, New Delhi from our Club. It was very well managed event.
Our Club organised an Anemia Detection and Treatment Drive at our adopted School ‘Govt Primary School Sector 31, Gurgaon’ for underprivileged children under supervision of Dr Meet Kumar Yadav and R’anne Dr. Nidhi Yadav on 10th March 2023. It was the first step of this initiative, Samples for Completed Blood Count were carried out for 215 students at school premises. Light refreshments to children were facilitated by our Club. 102 children were benefitted from this camp.
Our lady members were honoured on Women’s Day by IMA Women’s wing Gurgaon on 8th March 2023 for their contribution to society:
(a) Rtn Dr Savita Choudhry for her excellent work towards Adolescent Health & women empowerment.
(b) Rtn Dr Savita Chopra for her contribution to Social Causes like Environment, Cancer detection & Literacy.
As a gesture of International Women’s day our Club organized a Lucky draw for lady Rotarians who attended the meeting on 13th March 2023, Rtn. Nirmal Garg won the lucky draw.
President Brig. (Retd.) V.K. Chopra gave an elaborate talk on Importance of Festival in Peace and Harmony with students of Arya Adarsh High School, Model Town, Gurgaon on 6th March 2023. President Brig. (Retd.) V.K. Chopra and VP Dr. Savita Chopra graced the occasion.
