Our Club installed 3 Incinerators (Sanitary Napkin Disposal Machine) at Dronacharya Government College, Gurgaon on 18th April 2024. Chief Guest was Prof. Ghanshyam Dass, Principal of Dronacharya Government College. It will benefit more than 3000 female students & staff at the campus. It was attended by President Manish Aggarwal, PE Manmohan Bharara and PP Hitesh Jain from our Club.
Regular Club Meeting – 26th meeting of the Rotary Year 2023-24 was held at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurugram on 22nd April 2024. Many projects were discussed followed by drinks and dinner.
PP Hitesh Jain has pledged to be PHS member and elected to contribute $1000 each year to The Rotary Foundation in April 2024
Regular Club Meeting – 25th meeting of the Rotary Year 2023-24 was held at Treehouse Queen’s Pearl, Gurugram on 8th April 2024. Guest Speaker was Rtn LN Rao (Retd Deputy Commissioner of Police) and he gave a brief talk on the topic of ‘Police-Public relationship’. It was very interactive talk followed by a question answer session. He was presented a token of gratitude by PP Subhash Chand Singla and PP Hitesh Jain. President Manish Aggarwal exchanged our Club Flag with Rtn. Chris Bugg from Rotary Club of Nofolk, Virginia who attended our regular club meeting on 8th April 2024 during his official visit in Gurgaon.

President-Elect Manmohan Bharara, Incoming first lady Sudesh Bharara AG (24-25) PP Hitesh Jain, Rtn. Meenakshi Jain, PP Dr. Pushpa Sethi , PP Dr. A K Sethi and PP O P Pahwa attended the ‘Prashikshan’ President-Elect Training Seminar held on 5th to 7th April 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa, Dehradun. PRID Rtn. Mahesh Kotbagi was the Chief Guest and Key Note Speaker. His speech was well received. It was a very well managed event.
RI District 3011 crossed a million dollar contribution to various Rotary funds. Amongst Club, Rotary Club Gurgaon is at #5. We are very thankful to all the donors for lending a helping hand.
Rtn. Dr. Kapil Lall and Dr. Himanshu Lall received Delhi Icon Awards 2023-24, Excellence in Infertility and IVF by Radio City 91.1FM on 1st March 2024. PP Anil Jain got the position of Governor’s Special Aide for Rotary Year 2024-25 Dr. Sanjeev Chaudhary has been selected to represent Haryana in the National Masters TT Championship being held in in Hyderabad.
Our Club celebrated Holi with the old aged underprivileged and destitute people of society at “Earth Savior Foundation”, through distribution of Gujia & Gulal on 24th March 2024 at Earth Saviour Foundation new campus, Mandawar Sohna Road, Gurgaon. President Rtn. Manish Aggarwal, First Lady Rtn. Bharti Aggarwal, Hony. Secretary Rtn. Mohit Khullar, Rtn. Rajeev K Gupta, Rtn. Meenakashi Khullar, Rtn. Pankaj Bhatia, R’anne Priti Chopra, Rtn. Puneet Arora and R’anne Bhawana Arora attended this event.
First Rotary Alumni Meet “ROSA” was held on 16th March 2024 at Rotary Public School Gurgaon. We are really thankful to our members and their families who spared their valuable time in attending ROSA function. It was a new beginning to associate the old students of the school and show them that what we are today. It was attended by 20+ members.
Rotary Club Gurgaon presented momentos to Rotary Friendship Exchange Team visiting from RID 2483 Serbia & Montenegro after the meeting on 15th March 2024. DG Rtn. Alexandra Vuckovic shared his experience of visiting Rotary Public School, Rotary Blood Bank, Thalassemia Centre, Mammography Van. He and his team were impressed by the wonderful projects of Rotary Club of Gurgaon.
