The Installation Ceremony of President Brig. (Retd.) V. K. Chopra SM and his team for the Rotary Year 2022-23 was held at Hotel Fortune Select Global, Gurugram immediately after GOV on 13th August 2022. Chief Guest was DG Rtn. Ashok Kantoor and Guest of Honour DGE Rtn Jeetender Gupta. Chairman GOV & Installation was PP Paramjit Singh Oberoi and Master of Ceremony was Rtn. Dr. Rashmi Khurana. President Brig. (Retd.) V. K. Chopra SM addressed the gathering and he shared presentation of all the projects done this Rotary year 2022-23 up till now & expectation of our district from Rotary Club Gurgaon. He appreciated the way DG Ashok Kantoor guided all the presidents. President Brig. (Retd.) V. K. Chopra SM thanked the Board, Office Bearers, Committee Chairs and Hon’ble members of the Club for their continued support and active participation and shared his plans for upcoming projects. Overall a very well planned & executed event appreciated by all present.

GOV Meeting – 6th Meeting of the Rotary Year 2022-23 was held at Hotel Fortune Select Global, Gurugram on 13th August 2022. President Brig. (Retd.) V. K. Chopra SM welcomed DG Ashok Kantoor, PDG Dr Sushil Khurana; PP Rakesh Talwar, District Secretary; PP Sanjeev Jawahar, District Secretary (Admin); PP Dinesh Jain, District Secretary Club Support; PP Munish Khullar, Assistant Governor, Zone 7; all Office Bearers, Board members, Committee Chairs. President also wished each one 75thYears of Independence Day ‘Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. This year’s GOV was 100% paper less which was appreciated by all. DG Ashok Kantoor had a closed door meeting with Board, Committee Chairs, Rotaractors at 6.00 pm. He interacted with Rotaractor clubs & gave them many clues for carrying out various projects. DG appreciated & shared his expectation with the board members from Rotary Club Gurgaon. DG Ashok Kantoor informed that our District 3011 had become 100% digital District on the very first day of the Rotary Year 2022-23. This will result in saving trees which are cut for paper manufacturing & also save time.

Independence Day Celebrations; 10th August 2022

Our Club celebrated Independence Day at Rotary Public School on 10th August 2022. Chief Guest was President Brig (Retd) Vijay Chopra SM. It was very well organized event. Flag Hosting is followed by March Past, Musical Presentations, Dancing Performance & Yoga.

Mega Health Checkup Camp; 7th August 2022

Our Club organized Mega Medical Health Checkup Camp in association with Fortis Hospital at Geeta Bhawan, New Colony Gurgaon on 7th August 2022. Due to heavy rain only 78 patients were benefitted from this camp and majority of numbers was senior citizens. Refreshment and Lunch were provided to medical team from Om Sweets.

Regular Club Meeting, Speaker Dr. Sarika Verma; 1st August 2022

Regular Club Meeting – 4th meeting of the Rotary Year 2022-23 was held at Treehouse Queens Pearl Gurugram on 1st August 2022. Speaker was Dr. Sarika Verma, ENT Surgeon, Allergy Specialist, MBBS, DLO, DNB (ENT) – Gold Medalist. She gave an elaborate talk on Noise Pollution through PPT. Her talk was quite informative & very well appreciated by the House. It was very fruitful meeting.
